Nature Notes Thursday and Signs of the Season

Visit Michelle at the finger-snapping Nature Notes Thursday Meme for incredible photos of the season and a tale about a baby turtle.

Today I bring to you my Fireworks Tree Update and my hotel for small, snowy birds.

Well, that was my plan. It is now too dark to take a photo of the hotel for small, snowy birds. You'll just have to come back! :)

I took this photo on the way to work. It's my fourth snap of this house. [shifty eyes] I think the tree has figured things out. It cleaned itself up, too. Do you see how tidy the yard is?

I hopped out, snapped the shot and took off like a criminal! I didn't think that maybe the photo wouldn't turn out so well. But I laughed and thought that I will do it again if we get a heavy snow or an ice storm this winter!

Grace in Small Things
1. I am grateful for bright sunshine
2. I am grateful for the full moon's light
3. I am grateful for crunchy leaves underfoot
4. I am grateful for colorful leaves hanging on

Me thinks that the person who owns that house is a perfectionist. The lawn is too clean.

Very neat tidy yard.

That yard is a far cry from mine. Ours is strewn with leaves. We like to see the leaves on the ground until the last possible moment.

I enjoy seeing the same tree at different phases. I remember that name "Fireworks" tree! :) It's beautiful with bare branches, too.

I ought wonder what people think I am doing when just stopping once, let alone 3 or 4 times. hehe

I love the bare tree although I like leaves on the lawn. Looks like someone caught every leaf as it fell. Sorry to read above about your cat being bitten, ouch.

Thanks for visiting mine. I have no idea why the tutles neck and head was outstretched. I wondered if it was showing me its good side.

Oh my gosh..how funny...'I took this photo on the way to work. It's my fourth snap of this house. [shifty eyes] I think the tree has figured things out. It cleaned itself up, too. Do you see how tidy the yard is?' You have a wonderful sense of humor. Maybe you could come and look at some of the trees here and make them clean up their acts... Michelle

I believe if I make the trees suspicious about my motive and activities, they may (depending on their own personal mental state) clean up their acts.

I took the previous photo when the human was in the yard. But I don't remember if he had a lawn mower with a bag or one of those leaf vaccum cleaners.

Also, I never spell vaccum right. Did I do that right?

LOL...I never spell it right either and there are no substitutes. You can't say swept.....vacuum I think is right...
