There's a hallway in my library where art is showcased and some of it is offered for sale. When I was there for a networking meeting, I went into the hallway and took some photos for you. I did not, in fact, network. At least not right away. I did a little bit.
Here is the hallway looking through the entrance and even further, into the cafe. Yep, Rose, there is a cafe. They serve BBQ, oddly enough. It used to me more like a coffee shop, but that didn't go over well. This is now run by a local restaurant. I don't know if they do well, but they seem committed to it for now.
I know nothing whatsoever about any of this art except that I liked it. If I didn't like it, I didn't take a photo. This is what I think is called mixed media.
Some of it was for sale, some wasn't. Startled this bird:
Eagles were suspicious and looking at us over their shoulders.
This reminded me of something my Grandma Betty would have done:
Loved this one. Whimsical. Here's looking at you!
I am always drawn to colorful art that looks like it is targeted for a child's audience. I do not have mature taste in art.
I was there Saturday to turn in my second reading program slip. I have yet to win another prize after being handed the global warming pen. I looked down this hallway and all the art was different! I'll go back and photograph the goods, but I was in a big hurry and didn't stop.

I liked the one of the barns! And the pheasants...and I am always drawn to colorful art. Not that I want it...but I like it.
I love your library.... I only know what art I like.... Michelle
