Visit the Nature Notes Thursday Meme
Today just got over-the-top hectic, but that's another post. I got mums for a birthday present, which is a sure sign summer is coming to a close. It is only 66 degrees right now, at lunchtime. It rained all morning and the day is still overcast, cool and damp. Just like August only totally different.

Beautiful pot of flowers. I read you post about walking. I say do it while you can. My mother just learned she has spinal synoisi. Not sure of spelling. As a result waking is very painful and she has to remaing in bed most of the time. We hope her treatment works
I, too, would have loved that weather. We've been averaging 90ยบ and oppressive humidity. Those mums are so cheerful :-) Happy Birthday!
It has gotten cool here too. I hate to buy some mums as that is the definition of fall and I don't want summer to end yet. Thank you for posting to Nature Notes as I love visiting these posts.. --Michelle--

Hold onto your hats, everyone! The low on Saturday or Sunday night is to be 48 degrees. BAG, it is possible, if my theory is correct, that it is actually October up in Canada. We get a lot of their weather since they can't keep it to themselves!! ;)
