Nature Notes Thursday/Signs of the Season

Visit Michelle at the eye-catching Nature Notes Thursday Meme for incredible photos of the seasons.

I harvested some leeks, some chives and the last of the rhubarb. Tomorrow night is supposed to be our first frost.

Grace in small things
1. Freezers
2. Warm dirt
3. Dew
4. Tiny snakes with tiny tongues
5. Red leaves

You still had rhubarb? It's long out of season up here.

I read you dinner idea, will have to give a try. Yes children are tiring. I work with 2 and 3 year olds every day.

Beautiful produce.. We haven't had our first frost yet here near Buffalo NY, but it won't be long. Thank you for posting to Nature Notes, it is appreciated... Michelle

Friday after work I dug up all the rest of the leeks and the cilantro that managed to come up after all. It is supposed to be 22 degrees tonight!

yep, still have rhubarb. It's clearly the miracle plant.

Hi, I'm here via nature notes. Seeing this photo, makes me hungry! Nice spread- crisp and clear. It sounds like you grow your own?

I too am impressed you still have rhubarb. That's a spring thing here. Everything in your photo looks so fresh and healthy, too. I'll bet you made something delicious with all that.
